Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw said that as people plan for Easter gatherings, they should think about who they will be gathering with and even consider having some parts of the gathering outside to limit potential exposure. However, she said while COVID-19 numbers are increasing and indoor gatherings can create a higher risk of infection if someone has the virus, it’s also important to recognize the benefits spending time with others can have for people.
