Drone footage taken in March 2022 by the B.C. Ministry of Transportation shows progress on the widening of the Trans-Canada Highway in the Kicking Horse Canyon area, near the Alberta border. On Tuesday, officials announced that the area will be closed to traffic between the Easter and Victoria Day weekends.
