Restarting Keystone XL pipeline would not increase oil supply, says Psaki

Asked if the Biden administration would be open to “a restart of the Keystone XL construction,” White House press secretary said the pipeline would not increase supply and “would not address any of the problems we’re having currently,” with regards to the surge in oil prices and limited supply. Psaki said U.S. is already “getting that oil” from Canada, adding that the pipeline is “just a delivery mechanism.”
