Former Quebec premier Jean Charest said Wednesday he wants to hear the rules for the upcoming Conservative Party of Canada leadership race before he decides on whether he would run. Charest has been seen as a potential contender for the party's leadership, but he said that he wants to see the rules to determine if a campaign would even be viable, citing the previous leadership race in which he decided not to do so.
