It’s been four months since devasting flood waters forced the evacuation of the entire town of Merritt and yet many are still reeling from the disaster. More than 900 people remain out of their homes–many of them living in various parts of the province. And while recovery efforts continue, there are concerns that some of the residents may never return. A possibility that could have a big impact on the small community’s economy.
