COVID-19: Canada loses 200K jobs in January amid Omicron-driven shutdowns

The Canadian economy lost 200,000 jobs in January amid stricter public health rules put in place to slow the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Absence due to illness also rose to a record high, with one in 10 employees off sick. Anne Gaviola crunches the numbers.
