This week on ‘The West Block’, guest host Eric Sorensen is joined by Transport Minister Omar Alghabra to discuss the weekend’s convoy protest that aims to gridlock Ottawa until COVID-19 restrictions are removed. Then, Sorensen speaks with former Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada Andriy Shevchenko about the assistance Canada has provided so far amid the standoff with Russia, and why Shevchenko says weapons are needed. The Conservative caucus has now received their election review, going over factors that led to their losing campaign in 2021. Sorensen speaks with the review’s author, former Conservative MP James Cumming.
