One person — believe to be a mall security guard — was taken to hospital following a reported stabbing behind Lansdowne Place mall on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded around 2:10 p.m. to the incident along the Crawford Trail which runs directly behind the mall.
Police say an unwanted man lunged at the guard with a knife, striking his coat. The guard wasn’t cut but was injured in a fall to the ground.
Police are looking for the suspect.
