Quebec Premier François Legault marked Canada’s National Day of Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women by admitting he was wrong. Last week, he was sharply criticized for denying the existence of systemic racism and for refusing to make the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation a statutory holiday. But as Dan Spector reports, some critics say his mea culpa is too little, too late.
