The native grasslands of the South Okanagan are a hotspot for biodiversity, hosting a huge number of B.C.’s at-risk species. Now, 151 acres of land in the White Lake area will be protected from development forever, thanks to a 1.8 million land deal involving the Nature Trust. Shelby Thom reports.
