Asked about the efficacy and protection afforded by mixing COVID-19 vaccines could produce, Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam said Tuesday that recent studies have shown the safety of mixing doses, though they may see slightly increased rate of temporary side effects, while one of the studies also found an AstraZeneca vaccine followed by a Pfizer dose produced a “robust immune response”
