COVID-19: Trudeau announces Pfizer delivering 5 million more doses in June
Description
March 30, 2021
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Tuesday that Pfizer would be delivering an additional five million COVID-19 vaccine doses, originally planned for the summer, in June. That means there would be 9.6 million doses available for use in that month alone. Procurement Minister Anita Anand said 1.5 million AstraZeneca vaccines from the U.S. would also be delivered this week and that the country was expecting to have at least 44 million vaccine doses by the end of June.
