Virginia Beach police provide update on shootings

Virginia Beach police in Virginia on Saturday provided an update on Friday night’s shootings along the oceanfront in which three separate shootings took place, leaving two dead and eight people injured. According to police, they’ve made three arrests in connection with the first incident in which seven people were shot, had no arrests made yet in the second incident that resulted in the death of one woman, and said the third incident, an officer-involved shooting, led to the death of a 25-year-old man. They said it was not known if the man was unarmed, but a firearm was recovered in the area of the shooting.
