Port Hardy resident, Westin Ireton was diagnosed as a young boy with leukemia. His family has needed to stay for hundreds of days in Vancouver after Westin’s diagnosis, and his family is forever grateful to the Ronald McDonald house for keeping the financial pressure off, and giving them a home away from home.
