Nova Scotia minimum wage increasing in April

Nova Scotia’s minimum wage will increase by 40 cents an hour in April. It’s going up from 12.55 to 12.95 per hour, making it the second highest minimum wage in Atlantic Canada. The government says this increase balances the interests of employers and employees, but anti-poverty advocates disagree. Elizabeth McSheffrey has the story.
