Biden proposes 5-year extension of Russia nuclear arms treaty, White House says

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday confirmed that the U.S. intends to seek a five-year extension of the Russia nuclear arms treaty. She said it is permitted by the treaty and “makes even more sense when the relationship with Russia is adversarial as it is at this time.”
