Edmonton mayor calls US Capitol riot ‘heartbreaking’

Mayor Don Iveson reacted to the riots at the U.S. Capitol building, saying it was extraordinary and heartbreaking to see so many people undermining the democratic process. He also expressed his dismay with the anti-democratic rhetoric that appears to have increased in recent years.
