A monolith was discovered on a beach on the U.K.’s Isle of Wight on Dec. 6, the latest in a number of similar objects seen at various locations. The Isle of Wight discovery follows similar finds in Utah and California, and even in Romania. In each of the previous instances, the objects were subsequently removed in circumstances which remain unclear, except that the California structure was topped over by pranksters.
