Peterborough nurse practitioner Lee-Anne Quinn recalls military duty
How does a person devoted to the healing arts reconcile with the need to carry a gun and wear bulletproof vests?
It was one of the many hurdles Lee-Anne Quinn conquered in her 23 years as a military nurse with the Canadian Armed Forces.
She is now the Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel for Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment and has been nationally recognized for her veteran leadership and volunteerism. Quinn not only maintains a practise as a nurse practitioner but also the spirit of a healer.
