Toronto’s medical officer of health Dr. Eileen de Villa announced on Tuesday the extension of restrictions on social gatherings and indoor activities in Toronto for a 28-day period. Dining in restaurants will remain prohibited, as well as indoor group fitness activities, amid a spike in COVID-19 cases.
