For years the City of Peterborough has worked toward bringing green waste collection into the fold-meaning that residents within city limits will no longer have to toss their food scraps into the trash.
Now it looks like the program is finally happening, with a public meeting on what the program will look like taking place next week. James Istchenko, Manager of Environmental Services with the City of Peterborough stopped by Global News Morning Peterborough to talk about it.
