Multiple vehicles and a lamppost were struck by a car on Elgin and Queen streets in Ottawa Wednesday afternoon as paramedics and police were called to the scene. They say the driver continued southbound on Elgin Street and struck multiple cars before coming to a stop just north of Laurier Avenue West.
