Coastal communities in Florida’s panhandle surveyed the damage left behind by Hurricane Sally on Thursday. Reports from Perdido Key show downed trees and power lines, damaged structures and inches of floodwater, while Pensacola experienced up to 5 feet (1.5 m) of flooding and travel was cut by damaged roads and bridges. Long lines of cars waiting for fuel were observed.
