B.C. wildfires: Penticton fire department setting up ‘wet lines’ to protect threatened homes

Penticton fire Chief Larry Watkinson said Friday that firefighters will be setting up “wet lines,” which he compared to “an elaborate sprinkler system,” to protect homes that may be in danger from the encroaching Christie Mountain fire.
