During a press conference on Friday, Premier Brian Pallister announced that Manitoba added 12,000 new jobs in July, and job numbers are now at 94.7 per cent of what they were in February. However, Pallister said that the government is extending some programs, including the Gap Protection Program, to help people get back to work and help businesses pull through the coronavirus pandemic.
