White House press secretary defends Trump’s tweets regarding elderly man shoved to the ground by police in Buffalo

Regarding a tweet that U.S. President Donald Trump made about a 75-year-old protester’s altercation with police, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Wednesday that Trump “does not regret standing up for law enforcement.” A reporter asked McEnany if the president “regrets tweeting out a baseless conspiracy theory” to which the press secretary responded that Trump was merely “asking questions” about the interaction.
