Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) teams deployed to five of Ontario’s worst-hit long-term care homes to help control COVID-19 have raised concerns about each of the facilities in a report. Speaking to reporters Tuesday outside Rideau Cottage in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted CAF members had raised some “extremely troubling observations” about the conditions at these facilities.
