During Saturday’s seasonal opening of the Toronto Zoo, Toronto Mayor John Tory participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and encouraged locals to visit the zoo in order to “keep the zoo going and all that it represents” amid the coronavirus pandemic. The zoo is allowing visitors in with a drive-through experience called the “Scenic Safari.”
