The elected leadership of several Wet’suwet’en First Nations are calling for the immediate resignation of Canada’s Federal Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett. Speaking to reporters outside Rideau cottage on Tuesday morning, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau brushed off calls for Bennett’s resignation and thanked her for her service on the Indigenous Relations file.
