Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was emphatic on Wednesday that “it will be weeks more” before the Canadian government can consider easing COVID-19 restrictions, stressing they need to continue to abiding by restrictions. He said that when the time comes to release restrictions, “massive, rapid testing” will be necessary. Trudeau said that if they release restrictions too soon, the country could be right back in a COVID-19 wave, making “everything we’ve done to now might have been for nothing.”
