Shoppers in London were faced with empty and sparse shelves as the spread of COVID-19 sparked panic buying of supplies in the English capital of London on Saturday. Tinned goods, toiletries and items with a long shelf life were bought up as large crowds attempted to enter supermarkets to buy whatever they could find left.
