Now that the storm is gone, Monday was a cold, but dry January day.
But those bitter cold temperatures combined with the Otonabee River, which is not frozen over, are the perfect ingredients for the formation of frazil ice.
And now, Otonabee Conservation has a flood warning in-place for the region.
