They’re eating insects! The Walleye: Ontario’s most popular sport fish and an iconic native fish species is shifting how and what it eats. A fishing guide who also happens to be a Mitacs research intern and a Master’s student at Trent University in Peterborough, is looking into walleye ecosystems and a significant discovery in understanding its food sources.
