Speaking to reporters following the English-language leaders’ debate Monday evening, Conservative Party Leader Andrew Scheer told reporters that a Prime Minister interested in fighting for Indigenous communities would promote growth in energy and mining, the two sectors which hire the most Indigenous Canadians according to Scheer.
