Union representing child care workers in Peterborough reacts to proposed job cuts
Description
September 6, 2019
Reaction is continuing to pour in following news that Peterborough city-operated child care centres could be shutting down by June of next year.
The move would cut 30 staff positions.
While officials say municipal restructuring will open up jobs for laid off workers, the union representing child care workers for the city says that's not the case. Katrina Squazzin has the story.
