Tim Burke is a co-founder of “Peterborough Strong,” a recently announced not-for-profit organization in the city taking aim at the opioid crisis.
Comprised of members from various parts of the community (police, government, business, health) it hopes to raise funds for more naloxone kits and endorse regulations to make training in the use of the kits mandatory in certain sectors.
The group is also moving forward with plans for an addiction healing centre in Peterborough.
