Lawmakers in Alabama have voted to criminalize almost all abortions, even in cases involving rape and incest. The only exception is if pregnancy poses a health risk to a mother, otherwise doctors who carry out the procedure would face a life-time prison sentence. As Jackson Proskow reports, the move comes as dozens of states seek to overturn Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion more than 45 years ago.
