Venezuela’s Guaido declares himself interim president, Maduro faces pressure

Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido declared himself interim president on Wednesday surrounded by thousands of supporters. Minutes later U.S. President Donald Trump recognized Guaido as the legitimate interim president, with Canada and other countries following suit.
