Canada Post workers in Peterborough strike before back-to-work order
Members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers in Peterborough spent the morning protesting the passage of back-to-work legislation.
Workers were off the job in dozens of locations around the country. The vote on Monday evening, passed by a margin of 53 to 25 with four Senators abstaining, ends a series of rotating strikes at Canada Post as the walkouts enter their sixth week.
CUPW members were expected to be back on the job at noon Tuesday.
