Westside Road reopens Wednesday after slide site safety inspection

It happened a week ago and now it has happened again. Last Tuesday, a section of Westside Road north of West Kelowna slid down the hillside and the road was temporarily closed to traffic. After rainfall Tuesday night more of the roadbed slumped away. With the uncertain stability of the site the road was once again closed. After a safety inspection, the go-ahead was given for traffic to resume.
