Most of the mitigation work is done and now it remains to be seen if it’s going enough to prevent another flood disaster. The City of Kelowna and the Regional District say they’re ready for the big melt and rain. It was around this time last year when the flood waters hit the Okanagan. Since then, local governments have been busy building berms, installing bladders and filling sandbags. Kelly Hayes reports.
