Dance for Iranian New Year

The first day of Spring also marks the start of Norooz – which literally means New Day in Farsi. Norooz is celebrated for 13 days by Iranians and people from diverse ethnic-linguistic communities from around the world. To help us celebrate – Iranian- Canadian dancer and Miss Vancouver World Lia Fallah performed a dance that honours the diverse cultures of Iran on the weekend morning news.
