Last year, Kawartha Youth Unlimited started an indoor skate park at St. Giles Church on Sunday nights. According to organizers, it was such a success, a second one has now been opened at the Bridge Youth Centre. Not only is it to allow youth in the area to gather indoors and continue this sport, but also to break the stigma and stereotypes around skate boarders.
