West Kelowna firefighter wins wrongful dismissal lawsuit

The City of West Kelowna was wrong when it fired a high ranking fire fighter. Kerry Klonteig sued the city after he was dismissed from his job as assistant fire chief for drinking and driving. Now a BC Supreme Court judge has ruled against the city in a wrongful dismissal law suit. Klonteig has been awarded more than $40,000 in compensation.
