U.S. House passes spending bill to end government shutdown

The U.S. House of Representatives gave final approval on a short-term funding bill on Monday to fund the government until Feb. 8, a bill that had been held up in the Senate causing a government shutdown. It will now be sent to President Donald Trump to sign, ending the shutdown.
