Controversial privatization of Okanagan hospital laundry goes ahead

Interior Health’s controversial decision to privatize some hospital laundry services is now being implemented. In-house laundry services ended at Kelowna General Hospital this week.

The change means dozens of people are out of work.

But the health authority says the move will save money, and that money can be directed back to patient care.
