Ontario Line opening unlikely until sometime after ‘early 2030s’
Description
February 18, 2026
As work gets underway for an elevated portion of its track, Metrolinx will only give a rough estimate of "early 2030's" for completing construction on the Ontario Line. But after difficulties from the testing period of other expansion projects, Michael Lindsay won't give a target for when passengers can ride it. Matthew Bingley reports.
