Petitions call for removal of judge in Stanford rape case

According to the organizations involved, more than one-million signatures were dropped off at California’s Judicial Commission on Friday calling for the removal of Judge Aaron Persky. The judge has drawn national attention for sentencing former Stanford University swimmer Brock Turner to six months in jail for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman.
