At a press conference on Thursday, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and London Police Service announced the seizure of 31 illegal firearms and large quantities of fentanyl and cocaine following a year-long investigation in the London area. Project ALIAS targeted multiple interconnected criminal networks, with police saying all of the crime guns originated from the United States. Investigators said the fentanyl seized represented tens of thousands of potentially lethal street-level doses.
