Reaction over Air Canada flight attendants being ordered back to work amid strike
Description
August 16, 2025
Less than twelve hours after Air Canada officially grounded its entire fleet due to a labour dispute with its flight attendants, largely over wages and unpaid work, the federal government decided enough was enough and stepped in. Ordering them back to work through binding arbitration. Although not unexpected, striking flight attendants were left angry and upset, while affected travellers were still struggling to get to their destinations. Taya Fast reports.
